In 1980, the idea of outsourcing a busines critical Finance Department was considered a possible risk to the business. However, it has now become accepted as being the norm, the hiring of specialist finance staff to run the back office at a known cost.

The company was formed by Reg Parsons, a qualified accountant, in 1980. In 1990 the business was purchased by Giles Allen, founder of Allen & Co www.allenco.co.uk
From having a single client in the tyre & exhaust market, CAS as it is better known, has grown both in the number of its clients, markets and locations. Headquartered in Andover, it has a stong presnece in London & the Thames Valley corridor, where subsidiaries of US companies have tended to be based.
